The reasons why we meet together (our Mission Statement) as the top leaders of our respective Asian affinity groups are:
  • To help our fellow Asian leaders by sharing our experiences, knowledge, insights, and best practices;
  • To help advance our Asian affinity group inside our own companies for our constituents and our customers;
  • To help our companies understand the value of diversity by the things we do;
  • To show a profit or value (real or intangible, but measurable) in the business case for diversity;
  • To become better leaders ourselves for our company and the communities that we choose to serve;
  • To network with committed leaders to find and create more committed and successful leaders

The members of this group include:
  • The top leader (or co-leaders) of any existing Asian affinity group and their designees;
  • Any leader who is championing an Asian affinity group startup;
  • Any Asian professional organization leaders that contributes to our efforts in leadership and affinity group development on a continuous basis
To participate with this Group, you must be recommended by an existing member that is defined above. Because this membership is limited to the current leaders & designees, it is expected that this group will rotate leaders in and out as leadership of the affinity group changes.

To maintain networking connections after your term has expired in your company's affinity group, please sign up for the Chicago Asian American Group Leaders LinkedIn Group.
