Experienced panelists will discuss topics ranging from finding career aspiration, planning career transformation, to seeking mentorship. This event is open to all members of NAAAP and to the general public.

Julie Ma

Julie Tiao Ma is the board president of the Chinese Fine Arts Society (CFAS), an award-winning and critically acclaimed Chicago-based non-profit dedicated to bringing high quality and adventurous Chinese music, dance and visual arts programs to the region. Julie was a high tech executive. She took on her newest challenge when her mother Barbara Tiao, the beloved founder of CFAS, passed away in 2007. Since then Julie has raised the profile of CFAS through her tireless work and expanded the organization’s reach into Chicago’s art community.

Justine Zhou

Justine Zhou is the owner of Zhou Agency, a provider for accounting, insurance, real estate investment and financial planning services. Justine started her career in real estate and has broadened her expertise to include insurance services and accounting services in the past 20 years. By attracting young talents and embracing new marketing channels, Justine has transformed her career by transforming her business into a multi-dimensional service provider.

Hieu Tran

Hieu Tran has successfully built up his agency to provide individuals, families and businesses financial security through many product offerings of County Financial. Through this process he grew his business by growing people on his team.

Debbie Liu

Debbie Liu is a community development coordinator for Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community (CBCAC) where she is primarily responsible for implementing the Chinatown Vision Plan, a framework document that charts the future for Greater Chinatown. Debbie has also managed substance abuse prevention programs and other community outreach and advocacy initiatives.

Vincent Cabansag

Vince is the director of operations of MATTER, a healthcare technology incubator. Vince leads the operations to support entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry leaders to deliver healthcare solutions. Vince’s unique skill set and his family’s connection to healthcare has lead him to his current career.
